On April 4th, 2023, the Cherryvale Forensics Squad competed at the Southeast High School Tournament in Cherokee. The following students medaled in the respective events:

• Derrick Myers and Mylie Snyder placed first in IDA (Improvised Duet Acting) qualifying for state.
• Lauren Hugo placed third in Prose and third in POI (Program Oral Interp.).
• Mylie Snider placed third in Poetry and fifth in Oration.
• Derrick Myers placed sixth in Oration and sixth in Inform.
