The Bluestem Lions all the way from Leon, Kansas, came last Friday night to challenge our Cherryvale Chargers at our homecoming game. Our Chargers had a strong first half scoring 22 to 0. Going into the 3rd quarter nobody scored a touchdown but the east side field lights went out for about 15 minutes temporarily pausing the game. The Lions finally scored in the last quarter leaving our Cherryvale Chargers winning 36 to 6.
